I don't know about you but the selection of pants around this house for a certain little boy are starting to get slim. While Micah has tons of jeans, tons of those jeans have holes in the knees. I hate to buy any new ones since he may or may not fit them in the fall. The gloom/rain/chill needs to disappear! I am ready for warm weather!
We went over to my parent's house for our annual Easter lunch and Egg Hunt. The kids couldn't wait to get out there and find the eggs. Micah didn't want to quit looking. He was certain he could find just one more hiding somewhere!
Micah worked really hard on this fort. He was so excited. We let him sleep in it for the night since he worked so hard on it! He loved it!
The weather has been a bit of a tease. One day it's gorgeous and you think spring has finally arrived and then the next minute it's cold. Boo. We have been able to get out a little bit anyway!
Micah has a terrible fake smile. He also has a terrible time standing still to "pose" for a picture. We practiced for a little while and he did pretty good!

Every Friday night it's just me and the kids. Rich works and we don't really do much so we create our own fun. This night, I took about a zillion pictures of the kids jumping in the air. They thought it was absolutely hilarious. They could not stop laughing. Just one more mom! PLEASE!!!
Madelyn is all girl. She loves the dresses, purses, pink, purple, dolls, and anything else girlie. She can hang with the boys too but she loves all things girlie. She is always bugging me to put the "hot curls" in her hair. One Friday night we did just that. She was in heaven!
Micah turned six on March 25th. It's so crazy to think that it's been six years already. He is growing up so fast. He is doing great in school and is really funny. We started off the day by giving him his birthday gift. We got him a powerwing razor scooter. He loved it. He got to pick where we went out to lunch and he chose Steak n Shake. Good choice buddy. After that, we had his party. We ate pizza and salad and did a bucket toss. It was a good time!
I teach third grade in Illinois. I love my job but also love my summers. I am married with two great kids ages 5 and 6. I have two dogs and like to scrapbook. I try to be creative when I can and like to entertain others.
